Welcome to the Jerico Bed & Breakfast and Pre-Civil War Log Cabins

The Main House was originally built by John Moore, in 1900; he was the great, great, great grandson of Pioneer Moses Moore. The Moore Family began Restoration in 1990 and opened its doors in December of 1991. Two years after the restoration of the Main House the first cabin to be built was the Patton cabin which came from the Rapp Farm in Renick, WV and from there on it was cabin fever.

"Jerico Bed and Breakfast has been our favorite get-away place for many years. It is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees and grounds. Yet it is conveniently close to the town of Marlinton and the many wonderful attractions throughout Pocahontas County. We have stayed in several of the cabins over the years. They are all comfortable and well-furnished with many special "touches". The owners, Tom and Lindie Moore, have become our cherished friends. "
Gerry and Natalie, Yorktown, Virginia
Lindie and Tom have treated us like family even on our first stay; last year they treated our group to a magnificent 'anniversary' dinner at the Main House! We look forward to seeing them every year and could never stay anywhere else. I heartily recommend them to anyone staying in West Virginia - not to be missed!"
- Bruce Giller, Brandon, FL
"Whenever I have to work in the Marlinton area I look forward to staying with Lindie and Tom at Jerico. The large, quiet, peaceful, beautiful grounds, the large antique-filled beautiful old house, the historic and the new log cabins, and the large delicious breakfast that fills you all day makes Jerico the place to stay. In “the big house” they have a refrigerator, kitchen, hot tub, etc. for guests to use if they choose. The self-service cabins have whatever you need. Lindie and Tom are eager to please their guests and quickly become good friends. They learn what you like and need. They accommodate the business and the leisure traveller alike: they know what you need. You will not be disappointed at Jerico!
